Arches National Park
We went to Arches National Park this past weekend and we had so much fun!

This is a window on the way to Delicate Arch. We climbed up some sandstone to get up there, and it was REALLY windy! Little pieces of red sand started attacking us so we couldn't stay up there for long. Too bad our picture is on the blurry side. It was really gorgeous.
I thought the map said it was .5 miles to get to Delicate Arch. Well, the lookout point was only .5 miles, but the hike we ended up taking was a 3 mile hike. It was over gravel, sandstone and high edges without railings. It was sooo fun, but I was trying to figure out why the .5 mile seemed to be sooo long! We decided Ryan would take care of the map part next time, haha.
I just love this picture because it's hilarious. Ryan is so funny. This is his "Napolean Dynamite" pose. haha :)
There were beautiful rock formations everywhere we went. It was just amazing to see a different kind of beauty than we see every day.
This is at the visitor's center after our long day. We were sooo tired!!
I really like this picture. The wood on the trees was so twisted and it just looked beautiful. This is what I imagine the "burning bush" looking like (without the fire of course) when Moses stood on Holy Ground.

This reminds me of our honeymoon. We did a road trip to California. On our way through St. George, we pulled over to see some cool rock formations. Just then, our alternator died and our car overheated. LUCKILY we coasted into St. George where my Aunt's brother-in-law lived. He helped us get a new alternator and we made it to Vegas around 1am! Looks like you guys had a fun hike though! I love that last picture.
Looks like so much fun! I'm glad you guys had a fun get-away weekend!
how beautiful! this is what Dan wants the very most... places like this!
how fun! jeremy really wants to take a trip there. maybe someday when we can afford the gas, haha. I keep blowing up each picture of you trying to get a better look at your cute little belly, but it's still just that- little!! (haha, i'm so impatient, aren't i?)

Way cool... I went to Dixie (did you know that?) and was around that kind of beauty all the time. It is my favorite scenery. I miss it!
It looks like you had a lot of fun! I haven't been there in several years, but now I want to go again! You have some beautiful pictures. I'm so glad that it is starting to be nice enough outside that you can actually go out now!
That looks like so much fun! We have a special place in our heart for Arches, fond memories for us. It is a truly beautiful place. What a fun way to enjoy a weekend! Brit :o)q

That is amazing that you went to Arches when you were 26 weeks pregnant!! I love the color in the photos! You both look great! When did you find time to find the 10 changes in our photo? I'm glad you found them. Thank you for looking at it!

Cate Cotton Fausett :)
How fun! I haven't been there in forever! I can't believe you're hiking like that while pregnant. You are still so tiny! How are you feeling?
Just wanted to say I hope you guys are feeling good!
How fun! Are you sure you're pregnant? I don't see a belly in any of those pics. And a 3-mile hike? How did you manage???
I had no idea you were pregnant! Congratulations to you guys! I'm glad you're having a girl too, they're so much fun to dress up! Even when they're two and into everything and you look at them and think to yourself, "You're going to drive me nuts today" then they look at you and smile.... then run over and give you big hugs or kisses. You'll be so glad to have a baby! YAY for you!
Cecily!! You are just so so cute! Love reading your blog and this hike/adventure looks fun! I am so jealous you got to be somewhere sunny and warm!! Hope your baby is cooking okay and I am so excited for you to be a mommie!
