Waterworks Kitchen

Ryan woke up this morning to find a surprise in our kitchen. This is how it looked before our surprise:

This is how our kitchen looks now:

Our neighbors upstairs had some kind of leak which provided us with a surprise indoor pool in the kitchen. There was about a 1/2 inch of water on the floor when we first walked in this morning... and water was coming through the light fixture. There was also a large puddle outside the building and our living room carpets were soaked.

We are just grateful for our insurance, and we hope our neighbors have it as well.

OH my goodness!!! Yes insurance is a wonderful thing but doesn't take away all of the hassles. Hopefully everything turns out ok and you can enjoy your new kitchen!!

If Beckett needs a place to hang out during construction, me and brea would love the company!

I would cry. That is something I would NOT want to deal with.
Hope you get your house back soon.

Yikes! So I see they are replacing the drywall in your kitchen. What about your carpets? Did they dry out our did you have to do some work in the living room too? Good luck to you; I hope the inconvenience doesn't last too long.

Oh no! So sorry! Good luck! (Their insurance should cover your damage right?) Let me know if you need to borrow a kitchen. Brit :o)

I hope things get back to normal for you guys soon! Not having a functioning kitchen is the worst. And I'm so sad we both had reasons to miss our play date! I don't know if I'll get to see you before I leave now!
